You know how to make a fire by the age of 8
Father’s Day means swimming in the Kuskokwim river near a muddy sandbar.
a big graduation class is six students.
You attend all the same classes as your sibling.
Fast food means “Cup of noodles.”
AC means the local grocery store, not air conditioning

at 5 o'clock rush hour there are only 5 cars ahead of you.
you get your airplane pilot's license before your driver's license
your first car is a four wheeler
moose rule the road, backyard, schoolyard, runway,every which way.

Area for Exploration One: One Thing We Must See Or Experience When We Go To Sitka:
Camp Coogen Cabin
What we learned. We learned about illuminescent plankton.
Sunstars have more than 5 legs.
Camp Coogan is part of the wildlife service and has to be in compliance with its laws.

What we learned. How to make a bowl, how to wedge the clay to get rid of bubbles, and we were fascinated in the flattening wheel for the clay.
