You Might Be From Yakutat IF...

you have world class fishing and surfing on your doorstep.
you know everyone’s business.
everyone seems to be related to each other.
the snow fills the pot holes.
if there is only six and a half miles of pavement in your town.
if it rains 24/7/365.
you own a four wheeler.
your favorite hang out is at the bar.
collecting glass balls is a sport.
your summer home is a cabin.
you wear xtra tuffs with dress clothes.
you’ve never owned a cell phone.
you interrupt a party while trick or treating.
every car you see has a dent in it.
you can walk anywhere you need to go.
the longest road is 30 miles long.
the bar is right across the street from the post office.
you have more bars than restaurants.
there is only one restaurant open during the winter (3 days a week).
everyone knows everyone else’s names.
outsiders never wave.
you’re in a class of ten.
your teachers all wear jeans and sweaters.
boats outnumber cars.
your girl’s basketball team is back-to-back state champions.
over 50% of your high school is on the basketball team.
your high school consists of one short hallway.
bear viewing is done at the dump.
junior and high school share a building.
