The difference on coming to Anchorage for RURE and going on vacation out here is that on vacation you have lots more free time and on RURE you are much more busy.

This week was different from when I came here to Anchorage in December. Its different because when I came out here I came to visit my brothers and go shopping; this week we experienced going to school at Begich M.S. and it is different from going to school in St.Paul. We also experienced staying at other people's houses. I would love to come here just to finish Jr. high then go to Mount Edgecumbe High School. The reason why, I love Begich's class and I love being around different people. I want to go to Mount Edgecumbe; I want to have more education for my brain and I want to experience more things over in Sitka, AK than here in Anchorage or St. Paul. I want to experience one year in high school in St. Paul just to see what its like to go to high school in there then in Sitka, AK. I would like to thank Mrs. Kushin for being our export to here in Anchorage.

Hey it's Feofaneya. The past 2 days we've attended Begich Middle School. Its really fun and cool. Yesterday I was only nervous for the 1st class. The rest of the day, it was easy and more easy going than we thought.
In the afternoon, we went to a Native Charter School. It’s similar to St. Paul's school; but not as many students as in St. Paul since it was only K-6, but you are able to learn about native cultures - mostly Yupik though, not Aleut. My thoughts about the charter school were that I’d like to go to school there; its small. It was quite a contrast to Begich, where there are over 1,000 students.
We ambassadors went shopping with our host brothers and sisters. We went to Target and Kohls, it was interesting for the Anchorage students to see the types of shopping lists we had (swimsuits for H2Oasis, Easter outfits for son/ daughter (Mrs. Kushin), birthday present for brother, pants for a child community member, clothes for a niece, etc.
We came back from shopping so that we could blog; but we saw the Yupik dance group, and they showed us some songs. After they showed us some of their dances, Taylor, Janettes, Selena and I showed them some Aleut dances from St. Paul. They really liked the russian peek-a-boo game. I really liked their dances that they showed us.

Yesterday us ambassadors made it in to Anchorage after eight in the evening. After we got in we went to eat at Apple Bees. It was great it was my first time going to Apple Bees to eat.
This morning I woke up at 8:35. I had french toast and eggs for breakfast. We went snow shoeing Campbell Creak Science Center. It was a lot of fun. After that we ate at Mc Donalds. We went down town to Fur Rondy. We went on carnivle rides. The rides were called Apollo, Gravatator, 1,001 knochs, tornado, and gazzie. It was a lot of fun. I'm haveing a lot of fun.
