Everybody in Shishmaref is almost related to each other. We celebrate christmas thanksgiving and 4th of july. we always have potlucks on the days.

Subsistence hunting is very important to us in shishmaref. Because we need to hunt for our food.

today is the final day to hang out with the anch kids n its been fun. in school we went to the home ec room to help with the eskimo food. we made fried meat out of moose meat, baked salmon and other things too but idk what else was being made. we also went to go work on our kuspaks then we went to lunch. after lunch albert came in to talk about shish in the old days. it was interesting to hear how much shish changed since he was a kid. when school got over we waited for the carnival started. then we went to the carnival and played some games.

clbilingual ohtay peeps i woke up n call maegan n check if shes ready for school n then i called davide to check if hes ready for school. after that i walked to john and kates house to pick up maegan then went out n saw davide ahead of us then walked them to school. today in school we went to all of our morning classes n the anch students went to our 1st n 4th hour then went to lunch. after lunch we all went to the bilingual class to carve horns n bones, n some sewing. i made a polar bear in like 40 mins then made a heart pendent in like 4o mins to. then i gave the heart to tia. she liked it alot. we were in that class for the rest of the day. after school me maegan chris lil hen went to go watch the ball games. spring carnival and inupiq days are going on now. so im glad they are here to watch ball games n b here for inupiaq days. its gonna be lots of fun. earlier we went to the snack shack. the snack shack is a local restraunt.well ill talk to you guys next time. later peeps.

Today i had to go to angies house, n pick up some kids so they can go to the airport. then at the airport our sign almost blow away from us. it was good to see the anchorage students again. then i had to give some of them a ride so they can get to they host families house. after i brought mandy and davide to they host families me chris n lil hen went to ride around. after we got done riding around we went to go play game at my grandpas. durring the photo scavenger hunt me n maegan all around town looking for things on the list. we even rode a snow go to go the dump.

Today we went to Chris's 2nd hour and during his 3rd hour Chris had a test so me and Henry A went to go shoot around. it was really fun. we shoot around with Justin. Justin is a really good basketball player. Then during lunch Henry Davide and I went to a gas station vlose to the school. Angie made a bet with little henry that if henry makes it in Justins face angie will give him 5 dollars. Justin is this tall guy that was Gatorade player of the year last year. The first time Henry shoot Justin been block him. Then the next time Henry shoot he made the basket. After that Justin told us how to play 32. on 32 justin kicked our butts on that game. I tried to gaurd him but he was making all of his shoots. I Tried harder and harder to guard him and i finally stopped him. then thats when i stated making my shots to. Justin is a cool guy. After that we went to record some of the west high school. and the coolest place was the planetarium in the school. We also met Tim and Matt. Matt is the math teacher Ciri Cook-Inlet. Its for Alaska Natives who want to study in smaller classes.

yesterday at school we went to Chris's 1st hour 2nd hour and 4th hour. In first hour we just watched Cast Away througout the class. in second hour we just played game on Henry A's Ipod, because we had nothing to do in that class. In 4th hour we went to Mandy's class. While we were there me henry a chris and matt went into the Auditorium. The Lights were off in the Auditorium. We went there ro go take pictures. When we were there I almost bumped the rail on the top of the auditorium. We went there to go take pictures. After school we went to take a tour of the Alaska Native Hospital and Prmary Care Center. Dr. Mala took us on the tour of the Prmary Care Center. After the tour we went to the house and play Nazi Zombies Online. We usally play game all the time, but sometimes we watch tv when we get bored of playing game, which is not often. If we get bored of playing one game Chris got a lot of other games we could play. Then later that night we went to the Band Concert to watch the South East and West high schools perform. it was really awsome. To bad theres only one more day to stay with host family. Its been really fun staying at there house. And Chris's parents are really nice. I also liked there dog Kamen IDK how to spell the dogs name.

The West High Shool is REALLY BIG!!! This morning Chris Henry A and I had to walk from one side of the school to the other just to get to the classes Chris has. It probably took about 3 to 5 minutes to get from one class to the other class. For lunch we went to McDonalds. But the McDonalds we went to sucked. Sophie took the slow way to McDonalds, that sucked alittle bit. But it was alright. atleast we ate lunch. I also got a tour of the school from Davide. We wemt to see the big gym, then we went to the small gym then we went to see the Swimming pool. Chris is our "brother" Henry A and I always stay at his house.

I learned how they bring the freight in on container ships. And that's how they bring the food in, then they send the freight to where ever its going. I got to see a contain ship, and the trucks taking the freight off of it. I went to take a tour of the Anchorage Dock, Went to the Star Wars Exhibit, and eat at the 5th Avenue Mall.
